Not a template. Not an AI generator. Not a designer. Not a course. Branana is a structured brand-building tool — it runs the same process a senior designer uses, so you can do it yourself. You answer questions, make decisions, and walk away with a brand system that's yours: coherent, documented, and ready to use.
The system
How it works.
Start with your direction
Define your position, audience, and brand personality before a single visual decision is made. Your answers become the brief the whole system builds from.
Make decisions, step by step
Work through the builder with clear, curated choices. Each decision narrows what comes next — so your logo, colours, and type are built to work together from the start.
Get a complete brand system
Logo, colours, typography, and usage rules — all cohesive, all documented, and ready use (or hand over to your developer, printer, or team).

Only what matters. Nothing more.
Light Strategy
Define your position, audience, and brand personality before a single visual decision is made. This is the brief the system builds from.
Logo

Colour Palette
A four-role palette (primary, supporting, accent, tertiary) with defined usage ratios and accessibility contrast checks built in.
Font Palette
A complete type system: headline, body and caption — each with a defined role, size range, and usage rule.
Exports
A complete PDF brand guide and all the assets you need to hand to your printer, developer, or new hire so you can get going.
Handy Tips
At each step, tips help to explain the decision you're making and why it matters. Not how to use the software — why you're making this choice.
Hiring a designer costs $5,000–$15,000 and leaves you with files you don't know how to use. A template gives you someone else's brand with your name on it. AI tools generate outputs with no strategic logic behind them. A course teaches you principles — it doesn't build your brand.
Branana is none of these. It's the actual process a senior brand designer uses — systematised so you can run it yourself. You answer questions, make decisions, and at the end you have a brand system that's yours: coherent, documented, and ready to use across everything you do.
You're not hiring someone. You're not buying a template. You're running the process — with designer-level guidance at every step.
What is a brand system and how is it different from a logo?
A logo is one mark. A brand system is the complete set of visual and strategic decisions that make your business recognisable and professional across every touchpoint — your website, packaging, social media, signage, documents, and anywhere else you show up.
A full brand system includes: your strategic positioning (who you are, who you're for, how you're different), a logo with clear usage rules, a colour palette with defined roles for each colour, a type system covering headlines, body copy and captions, and a brand guide that documents all of it.
Most small businesses only have a logo. That's why they struggle to look consistent — there's no system behind it. Branana builds the system, not just the mark.
How much does professional branding cost for a small business?
Professional branding from a designer or agency typically costs between $5,000 and $15,000 for a full brand system — and that's before any ongoing design work. Freelancers at the lower end often deliver a logo and a mood board. Agency work at the high end includes deep strategy, full visual systems, and extended handoff support.
Branana makes professional-quality brand systems accessible at a fraction of that cost. The DIY tier is a one-time $197 payment. The Guided tier — which includes expert feedback at key stages — is $397. Full-service, where we run the system for you, starts at $697.
The system is the same at every tier. What changes is how much support you have along the way.
What do I actually receive when I purchase?
When you complete the Branana system you receive a complete brand toolkit:
Light brand strategy — your positioning, audience definition, and brand personality.
Logo suite — your primary logo, with clearspace rules, size guidelines, and approved variations for different backgrounds and contexts.
Colour palette — primary, supporting, and accent colours with hex codes, usage ratios, and accessibility contrast ratings baked in.
Type system — headline, body, and caption typefaces, with defined sizes, weights, and usage rules for each.
Exportable PDF brand guide — formatted and ready to send to your printer, developer, photographer, or any collaborator who needs to understand your brand.
Do I need design experience or software knowledge?
No design experience required, and no specialist software to learn. Branana is built for business owners, not designers.
Every decision in the system is guided — you'll see curated options appropriate to your industry and style direction, with tips explaining why each choice matters and what it signals about your brand. You're making decisions; the system is doing the design logic.
You don't need to know typography rules to pick the right typeface. You don't need to understand colour theory to build a palette that works. The system knows those things so you don't have to.
How long does it take to complete?
Most people complete the DIY system in 3–5 focused hours, spread over a few sessions. It's not designed to be rushed — each decision builds on the last, so taking time to think produces a better result.
The system is divided into five stages: Brief, Style, Logo, Colours, and Typography. You can save and exit at any point and return where you left off. Most people complete one or two stages per sitting.
For the Guided tier, add time for two rounds of expert feedback — typically 2–3 business days per round. The Full Service tier has its own timeline agreed at the start.
How is this different from Canva, AI logo tools, or template kits?
Canva is a design tool — it gives you the means to create, but no guidance on what to create or why. You still have to make every decision yourself, with no framework for whether those decisions are right for your brand.
AI logo tools generate outputs instantly — but with no strategy behind them. They don't know your audience, your positioning, or your industry. The results look finished but aren't built on substance or taste.
Template kits give you someone else's brand. You can edit the colours and swap the logo, but the underlying structure isn't yours — and it shows.
Branana is different in one fundamental way: it starts with strategy. Every visual decision you make is informed by the brief you set at the beginning — your audience, your position, your industry. The system narrows your options based on who you are and who you're for. The output isn't generic because the process isn't generic.
What if I already have a logo?
Existing logos aren't something we can import just yet — it's on the roadmap.
In the meantime, you can still run the full system. When you reach the logo stage, pick the option closest to your current mark and continue through to the end. You'll come away with a colour palette, type system, and brand guide that's built to sit alongside what you already have.
Can I upgrade from DIY to guided later?
Yes — and it's designed this way deliberately.
Because the system is the same at every tier, upgrading is seamless. You pick up exactly where you are — there's no starting over and no duplication. You pay the difference, not the full price again.
There's no deadline on upgrading. When you're ready, the option is there.
