Plain English first: We collect your email to keep you updated, your brand inputs to run the system, and basic analytics to improve the product. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone who doesn't need it to make Branana work.
Who we are
Branana is a brand-building system for small businesses, operated from Melbourne, Australia. When this policy refers to "Branana", "we", "us", or "our", it means the Branana product and its operators. You can reach us at hello@branana.app.
What we collect and why
Email address — Collected when you join the waitlist or create an account. We use this to send product updates, launch communications, and transactional emails about your account. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Brand inputs — When you use Branana, you provide information about your business — your name, industry, style preferences, colour choices, and other brand decisions. This data is used solely to generate your brand system outputs. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or shared with third parties.
Payment details — Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers. We receive a transaction confirmation and the information needed to fulfil your purchase.
Usage and analytics data — We collect anonymised data about how people use Branana — which pages are visited, where people drop off, how long stages take. This helps us improve the product. This data is not linked to your identity.
How we store your data
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard practices to protect it from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary: payment processors (to handle transactions securely), analytics providers (to understand product usage, anonymised), email delivery services (to send communications you've opted into), and hosting and infrastructure providers (to operate the product). All providers are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Your rights
